全球有機(jī)紡織品標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，Global Organic Textile Standard, 簡稱GOTS。該標(biāo)準(zhǔn)由國際天然紡織品協(xié)會(huì)(IVN)、日本有機(jī)棉協(xié)會(huì)(JOCA)，美國有機(jī)貿(mào)易協(xié)會(huì)(OTA)和英國土壤協(xié)會(huì)(SA)組成的GOTS國際工作組IWG共同制定和發(fā)布。
GOTS標(biāo)準(zhǔn)認(rèn)證的目的是確保有機(jī)紡織品從收獲、到原材料、到加工以及到最后產(chǎn)品包裝的規(guī)范性，以便給最終的消費(fèi)者帶來可信賴的產(chǎn)品。這個(gè)新行的、獨(dú)特的認(rèn)證法規(guī)要求紡織品制造商以全球公認(rèn)的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)來規(guī)范他們的有機(jī)紡織品和服裝的生產(chǎn)，這是實(shí)現(xiàn)紡織品標(biāo)簽協(xié)調(diào)化和透明化的一個(gè)重要措施。

1.1 AIM OF THE STANDARD

The aim of this Standard is to define requirements to ensure organic status of textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labelling in order to pro- vide a credible assurance to the end consumer.
本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)旨在規(guī)定有機(jī)紡織品從其原料收獲、對社會(huì)和環(huán)境負(fù)有責(zé)任的加工、再至標(biāo)識的整個(gè)過程需確保有機(jī)狀態(tài)，從而向最終消費(fèi)者提供值得信賴的產(chǎn)品。
1.2 SCOPE AND STRUCTURE

This Standard covers the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labelling, trading and distribution of all tex- tiles made from at least 70% certified organic natural fibres. The final products may include, but are not lim- ited to fibre products, yarns, fabrics, garments, fashion textile accessories (carried or worn), textile toys, home textiles, mattresses and bedding products as well as textile personal care products.
本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)涵蓋了所有有機(jī)天然認(rèn)證纖維成分含量不低于 70%的紡織品的加工、制造、包裝、標(biāo)識、貿(mào)易和分銷活動(dòng)。終產(chǎn)品可包括（但不限于）纖維產(chǎn)品、紗線、面料、服裝、紡織類時(shí)尚（穿戴）飾品、紡織玩具、家用紡織品、床墊寢具及紡織類個(gè)人護(hù)理用品。
The Standard focuses on compulsory criteria only except where an exception from this rule is expressly stat- ed. Some of the criteria are compliance requirements for the entire facility where GOTS products are pro- cessed (2.4.10. Environmental management, 2.4.11. Wastewater treatment, 3. Minimum social criteria 4.1. Auditing of processing, manufacturing and trading stages and 5. Ethical Business Behaviour), whereas the others are criteria relevant for the specific products subject to certification (all other criteria of Section 2 and Section 4.2. of this Standard). GOTS criteria or the local legal requirements, whichever are higher, shall be followed.

As it is to date technically nearly impossible to produce any textiles in an industrial way without the use of chemical inputs, the approach is to define criteria for low impact and low residual natural and synthetic chem- ical inputs (such as dyestuffs, auxiliaries and finishes) accepted for textiles produced and labelled according to this Standard.

鑒于當(dāng)前紡織品的生產(chǎn)不可能不使用化學(xué)品的行業(yè)現(xiàn)狀，對依據(jù)本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)生產(chǎn)和標(biāo)識的紡織品所使用的投入物定義了標(biāo)準(zhǔn)——允許使用殘留低、環(huán)境影響小且經(jīng)過許可的天然投入物和合成化學(xué)品投入物（如：染料、助劑和整理劑）。

The Standard sets requirements on working and social conditions that are equivalent to those of leading so- cial sustainability standards.
本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)在相當(dāng)于社會(huì)可持續(xù)性發(fā)展的方面對工作和社會(huì)條件做了相關(guān)要求。
As the Standard is also applied and monitored for entities in countries with developed and effectively applied social and labour legislation and collective agreements between employers and trade unions that conform with the universal standards of the International Labour Organisation (ILO), exceptions to monitoring, verifi- cation and audit requirements may be made. Conditions for making exceptions are defined in the Implemen- tation Manual of this Standard.
